L'Atelier Europea

Cook with the Restaurant of the Year’s Chef

Since Jerôme Ferrer, master chef or Maître cuisinier from France, opened his Montreal restaurant "Europea", awards and distinctions have been piling up.  The most recent ones: the Zagat Top Ten and the Guide Debeur 2010 Restaurant of the Year.

Behind the scenes, access to secrets

Once you have tasted his cooking, you will be hooked for sure! And guess what, you could offer your loved ones this very same cuisine – or almost - prepared with your own hands.

Jerôme Ferrer is generous and loves to share his knowledge and passion for food with his clients. This is the very reason he created “L’Atelier,” or workshop, where for as little as $50, he shares his secrets with the hopes of turning you, or someone you might have given this as a gift to, into a better Chef in just 60 or 90 minutes.

Cocktail appetizers; small snacks with friends; risottos; modern vegetarian cuisine; sauces; fish; pies, jams and marmalades; terrines, pâtés and rillettes, and the famous macaroons, are on the menu at l’Atelier.

A workaholic chef

Ferrer can’t stop coming up with new and creative projects around different types of cuisine.

For example, he recently opened, side by side, a bistro, "The Beaver Hall", and next to it a Mediterranean restaurant, "Andiamo".   His newest, "Birks Café", nestled in the famous Montréal jewelry store is a must stop – even if it is only to taste one of his famous crisp, melt-in-your-mouth macaroons. Odds are that you will not be able to settle for one!

We should mention that Jerôme Ferrer is a very nice and cheerful person, and a great name associated with Montréal.
