Bromont, a mecca for cyclists in Québec

Whether you’re a foodie, an outdoor enthusiast, a thrill seeker, or a cyclist looking for the next great ride, the Bromont region is one of Quebec’s premier vacation destinations.

Not-to-be-missed

Divertigo Bromont offers a one-of-a-kind mountainside experience. The huge wooden structure boasts 40 aerial games, including 3 zip lines that will take you on a 750-metre adventure, a 9-metre swing, and a 12-metre free-fall simulator that’s a thrill-seeker’s dream! The first level has a series of skill challenges designed for younger kids.

Le parc des Sommets is a vast green space that includes 140 km of paths for mountain biking, hiking, running, and horseback riding. And access to the park is free.

Cycling comes full circle

Not only is Bromont a mecca for cyclists, it’s also the only city in eastern Quebec that is equipped to cater to cyclists from every discipline. You can ride in the velodrome at the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont, try your hand at BMX or pumptrack, meander along the bike paths, enjoy road cycling or gravel biking on country roads, and cross-country cycling on the world-class paths at Parc des Sommets. In winter, come back to try out a fatbike in the snow!

For foodies

Bromont is the doorway to the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route and offers a wide selection of gourmet spots that blend creative chefs with local flavours.

Be sure to check out Gaïa (vegan), Chardo (wild, fresh, local cuisine), L’Étrier (locally sourced food), La Pérouse (French cuisine), and Au Galop (local cuisine with a European twist, located at an equestrian centre). Their chefs will be more than ready to help you regain some of the calories lost during the day.

To explore even more

The Tourism Bromont site features all of the exciting experiences and events that are on offer, as well as a list of restaurants and places to stay for a memorable visit.

Do not store you bikes yet!
